The mega dungeon Tazavesh, which opened its doors with WoW Patch 9.1, has a special hard mode similar to Mechagon - and it's quite a challenge in more ways than one. Not only does the hard mode have to be unlocked separately and demands all your playing skills, but you also have to complete it in one piece.
As the developers confirmed in an official blue post, you won't be able to take a long break in between and resume the dungeon ID at a later time. In response to a question from a player on the WoW forums, the team wrote:
"Yes, this is intentional. The Hard Mode of Tazavesh must be completed in one full run. Once there has been a soft reset of the instance, Hard Mode will no longer be active and will need to be reinitialized.
What this means is that if you soft reset the instance, that is, if you let 30 minutes go by without at least one member of your party being in the dungeon, your progress will automatically be reset and you'll have to start over.
Having to complete Tazavesh's Hard Mode in one playthrough seems only fair, though. After all, the dungeon is meant to be a challenge and also beckons with correspondingly rewarding loot such as equipment at item level 233 and the mount Sliding Disc of Tazavesh. By the way: If you want to know how to unlock the hard mode, just take a look at our guide.
