WoW Patch 9.2 finally brings a feature long desired by fans to Azeroth, at least in part: That's because when the update, titled "The End of Eternity," rolls out, the developers plan to test rated solo queues for WoW's PvP for the first time, with a brawl. Fans have already discussed this feature at length in the new Community Council and expressed concerns about deserters, among other things. The developers have now commented on this very issue.
07:39The WoW team writes in an official bluepost (via WoWHead) that there are concrete plans to make sure that deserters won't be a problem in the solo queue:
Also, the developers want to match Protection Paladins only against other Protection Paladins in the solo cues to compensate for their advantage in off-healing. Other tanks should be able to compete against each other in mixed matches.
Last but not least, there was some information about the rewards for the Solo Shuffle version of the brawl: players should be able to farm honor very efficiently through it, with the Solo Shuffle being the most efficient form of honor farming in Patch 9.2. The availability of the Solo Shuffle remains independent of the other brawls and is displayed with a separate button in the PvP interface.
Now we want to know from you: What do you think of these announcements regarding the solo PvP queue in Patch 9.2? Write us your opinion in the comments!
