You may have noticed: Yesterday evening, on March 3, 2022, the Blizzard developers gave the PTR of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic an update. Included: the troll raid Zul'Aman, strong leather drums, "imba" maces that can now be carried one-handed, and ... various database entries with the path "Interface_Wrath.". Wait, please what?!
03:21In fact, WowHead's dataminers have found several entries in the "ManifestInterfaceData" database that are linked to the second WoW expansion Wrath of the Lich King.
This is especially exciting because we are slowly but surely approaching the finale of WoW (buy now )

In other words, if Blizzard is planning a Classic version of WotLK (which we strongly expect), the Classic team should make an announcement in the coming weeks or months and make the content available for testing on a PTR. . One reason, for sure: the Lich King. From his first attack on the Horde and Alliance capitals to the thrilling finale in Icecrown Citadel, Arthas as the villain shaped the entire expansion in a way that hardly any (or even any?!) later bosses have managed to do. 04:32In terms of staging, Blizzard went one step further compared to TBC. For example, with the epically staged in-game sequence at the Wrath Gate. Or with the partly blatant change of the areas through our actions, thanks to phasing. In addition, the fantastic music pieces that caress our auditory canal in the Northrend zones. WotLK was an experience that also had a new, very strong class in the form of the Death Knight, and two of the best raid instances in WoW history in Ulduar and Icecrown Citadel.
